The 1/2" is the large-format option in the Euro-Flat lineup. Its larger tooth pattern applies the mortar needed to support demanding large-format tile installations while helping produce consistent contact across the back of the tile.

Always confirm proper mortar coverage by periodically lifting a tile during installation. Tile size, tile condition, substrate flatness, mortar selection, and site conditions may affect the required trowel size.
Traditional trowel handles can sit too close to the front teeth, creating a tight area where thinset collects and becomes difficult to remove.
We moved the Euro-Flat handle back from the working edge to create more open space around the front teeth. This helps reduce thinset buildup and makes the trowel easier to clean and maintain after every installation.
